Simple Valentine's Day Look

I know, I know I'm late, I'm really sorry but hey, I think this is better than never. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Has anyone of you went to a date with friends, family or your special someone? I hope you had a great day! As for me, I stayed at home, specifically on my bed because I am not feeling well. I talked to my prince on the phone because we can't go on a date. We are in a long distance relationship and before you tell me we should've at least had a video call on Skype, he had to leave at 5am and take a plane to Mexico for a special occasion. We talked about it and besides, we video call everyday anyway. I understand the situation.

Okay enough of that, I may not be able to go out and date myself or with my friends but if I was able to go out I probably just rock a simple makeup. It was really hot so I don't think I'd wear too much makeup.

I started of with the basics, primer, foundation and concealer, then set with a translucent powder. I did my eyebrows next and proceeded to the eyeshadow. I used a champagne color as base and medium brown for the crease. Pop a light pink eyeshadow from the inner corner to halfway across the lid. I used a light purple eyeshadow on the outer corner and blend. Then, I used the same brown color for the lower lash line and top it with the purple eyeshadow. I didn't use false eyelashes on this one because I won't be going anywhere, but I will if I do. I finished of the eyes with a white eyeliner and mascara.

I contoured a bit under my cheek bones, temples, sides of my nose and jawline. I used a pink blush on the apples of my cheek. Highlight my cheeks too, bridge of my nose, chin, and forehead.

I finished everything with a light pink lipstick and a finishing powder. I just did a simple crown braid for my hair too.

There you go! If you're interested to see a video version of this look, future makeup looks or any suggestion  let me know by commenting on this blog post or through my Instagram: @colormemoryzyra

The Purge: Election Year Movie Trailer

I'm a big fan of The Purge movie. Since the last installment, I've been waiting for the next one. I was hoping they could launch it sooner and I guess they did. After a a long wait, The Purge's facebook page officially released a new trailer of the next installment, The Purge: Election Year. It is said to be aired on July 4, 2016, which is United State's Independence Day. I'm not sure if it'll be aired at the same day here in the Philippines but if it is, then I will probably watch it. Without any further ado, here it is:

So? Anyone else excited for The Purge 3? I am! I'm looking forward to see it in cinema!

Shubizz - Got a New Pair of Shoes!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! It's been a long time since I last posted here on my blog. Anyway, I got a new post! We went to the mall yesterday to eat and finally get my new pair of shoes. I was supposed to get a Draven but they don't have my size available so I end up getting a high-cut shoes from Shubizz. I'm not really sure if this brand is available in other countries, I'm from Philippines, by the way. So here it is!
_MG_3650
I got myself a black ones so I don't have to worry about the color of my clothes. I believe it's made of faux leather which I don't mind at all because I will have to buy a new pair of shoes in the future anyway whether to add to my collection or use it everyday.
_MG_3656
It looks like it's just a normal high-cut sneakers but the cute thing is, it's actually a 2 inches wedge shoes. the heels are hidden inside and it's very comfortable to wear. It's really lightweight too.
_MG_3658
It has no zippers on the sides but it's very easy to wear.
_MG_3662
I really like it and the diamond stitches design on the sides! By the way, I guess you can find Shubizz stalls at any SM Department stores.

It's my new favorite pair and I can imagine myself wearing this a lot!
Thanks so much for reading my posts and I hope you enjoy my blog! See you on my next post! Don't forget to follow me for more.

L.A. Girl FINELINE (Long Lasting, Fine-tip Eyeliner) Review + Product Comparison

Hello bunnies!

I've been raiding the metro for a good eyeliner pen. It was quite a challenge because I tried couple of products but didn't worked out fine. I'll be mentioning 3 products today for comparison but I'm only doing a brief explanation for 'em.

Let me start with my first ever eyeliner pen. I've been visiting HBC for couple of months looking for new, good products to try out and there I found an affordable eyeliner pen from their San-San product line. I bought it right away and got the shade of brown since the black one has been sold out. I really want to try it out, I paid for the brown one for almost a hundred only (I think - to be updated).

When I got home I opened it and tried it out. To my surprise, it has good pigmentation. The packaging is nice and sturdy. It has a felt tip and dries out fast after the application. I was trying to wear it during the day but unfortunately, after couple of hours, I felt my eyelids are kind of itchy. I didn't mind it at first but I really do feel itchy on the part where I put on the eyeliner pen. So I cleanse my face, tone it and moisturize. What I really like about the pen is it has good pigmentation, very convenient and of course affordable. But then I don't like the way it has some kind of effect on my skin because it gave me a "minty-itchy" feeling while I'm wearing it. If this doesn't happens to you, well, lucky you. I don't know why I had that feeling but then if you have "not so"sensitive skin, this might go for you.

Second is the Elf eyeliner pen which I got from SM Manila. I went to the Elf counter to get an eyeliner pen since I've read that it is good. I tried it at home and YES, it has good pigmentation AT FIRST. But I got REALLY REALLY disappointed when I applied it over my eye shadow and the pen got ruined that easy. I think I have to use it for twice and throw it afterwards because after I put it on it completely dried out. I tried to swatch it but I got nothing after that. That's really bad. And again, if it doesn't happen to you, you got a good purchase.

And finally when me and my family went to SM Mall of Asia one Sunday, me and my mom accidentally came across the L.A Girl counter and the one who assisted us offered me a free makeup. She put on the makeup and she introduced me their eyeliner pen which she said they have it for like months or a year then (I think) and it haven't dried out yet even after applying it over the eyeshadow. To my surprise, it gave me a good pigmentation and it still has the same pigmentation even after the application. They have 5% off that time so my mom decided to buy couple of products from them including the eyeliner pen and she gave me the products instead. We got the eyeliner pen for Php 300.00 that time because of the sale although I'm not sure about how much is the original price.

So here it is. It has a black container and classic L.A Girl logo on it. It's pretty good and perfect I recommend this to my readers to try this out. IT'S WORTH THE DEAL! 5 of 5!

I hope this helps! See you in my next post!

xoxo

P.S
For the Elf Eyeliner, Sorry I forgot that I threw the pen already so I wasn't be able to take a picture of it again since my camera's memory card can't be retrieved anymore.

Celeteque DermoScience Hydration Alcohol-Free Toner Review (Dry Skin)

Almost all of us have problems when it comes to skin care. I've been having dry skin these past few months especially around the nose area. It sucks when it makes the foundation being applied became flaky because of the dryness going on. The nose area is the most part which is prone to dryness. I've tried so many products I thought that can help the dryness to completely be cured. It actually burned my wallet since I have to try out different products to which one will work for me.

After a long journey of finding the right product that could work, I finally found one. I was roaming around the Metro looking for affordable products that could help me with my skin issues. I know a lot of you are familiar with Watsons. It is usually found at most malls especially SM Malls. Dry skin is more likely be kind of sensitive, using alcohol based products will only worsen the situation of your skin. Since that alcohol based products are not good for dry skin, I looked for products which are alcohol-free and here I found one.

I found this toner and I bought it to try. I got Celeteque DermoScience Hydration Alcohol-free Toner with Hazel Extract which actually gave an amazing difference to my skin even with my first time of using it. After washing my face with Celeteque DermoScience Gentle-Exfoliating Facial Wash, I pat my face dry with towel and start applying the toner that I bought recently. After that, I apply my Celeteque Facial Moisturizer which is water-based and oil-free. Water-based products are very good for dry skin since it will really hydrates the skin.

Celeteque DermoScience Hydration Alcohol-free Toner only costs Php 130.00 which is very affordable for a 125 mL of product. Using a small amount of it, about 4 drops, on a cotton ball can make a difference and even out the skin too. It also helps my other skin problems to heal easily. I don't like posting any pictures of my problem area because I personally think it'll look somehow gross but I'll definitely will after my skin gets a lot better.

Also the facial wash costs almost Php 100.00 a 60 mL of product. It has a bigger size, although I am not sure about the amount but I think it costs Php 135.00 (price to be updated). I am not sure about the price of the moisturizer because I got this water-based one from their 3-in-1 pack. It contains 3 small bottles of facial wash, toner and moisturizer.

I encourage my readers to try this out since it doesn't costs too much for a 125 mL of product. And also it is a non alcohol-based product which doesn't irritates the skin. If this product didn't work for your skin, I suggest you to go to your nearest dermatologist or if that's out of your budget, try looking for products with water and alcohol-free contents. There are lots of products out there, just take some time to read the contents and reviews regarding the product you want to buy. I haven't seen too much for Celeteque products but I hope I can help others who are looking for alternatives for their skin.

If you have combination skin, try applying most of the product on dry areas then work your way to the rest of your face. Just do not forget the three essentials of skin care: Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize. My skin is not perfect but it helps my skin to easily recover from breakouts or uneven skin and it makes the application of foundation smoothly.

I hope this helps! See you in my next posts!

    P.S.
Images of this post will be posted soon. My camera's memory card got corrupted.

The Face Shop Magic Cover BB Cream Review

GOOD DAY READERS! Welcome to BeautyinaBudget. Today I'll be reviewing "Magic Cover BB Cream" from THE FACE SHOP. It has recently taken the beauty world in an instant. Although we know that a couple of these brands are very much expensive.

So here, I received a gift from my auntie since she's been living in Korea for almost 5 years. She went home last October and she gave me this little baby to use for school (Yes, I do makeup in school since my college requires professional look because of my course). I am very much really into alternatives, at first I have second thoughts of posting this here since my goal here is to offer my readers much more affordable alternative makeups they can use but I think this can also be helpful for readers who's looking for couple of reviews about this specific makeup and brand.

Moving on with my review, Magic Cover BB cream in Light Beige is pretty amazing because it really did cover up my obvious blemishes which I do not have to use much of concealer for the spots on my face especially pimple marks. It does reduce under eye circles and and covers redness.

Although at first I thought that the color of the cream itself is too light for my skin tone, but after a few minutes it actually matches my skin tone.

The packaging is very good, it is in a metallic purple box. It has a description on the side and also on the front part. The directions, cautions and ingredients were also stated on the side. It also says "Sunscreen and wrinkle improving dual functional cosmetic". It has Korean writings at the back and also stated where it is made of. And for the packaging of the BB cream itself, it is in a purple tube that comes with a pump at the bottom of it. It has a clear plastic glass-like cover with Korean characters and also at the back of the tube.
The packaging is really pretty and elegant at the same time. Although it's kinda long but I think it is still convenient to use cause the cream doesn't spill out of the tube and also very easy to clean. You can just wipe off the excess from the pump and you're ready to go.

I recommend this Magic Cover BB Cream to my dear readers. Although I'm not sure how much this one costs here in PH, but it's worth the deal. If anyone of you guys know if this BB cream is available here in PH and also the price, please let me know. That will be a big help. And also if you tried this BB cream please let me know if it has the same effect on the type of skin you have.

Thank you for dropping by! I hope to see you on my next posts! And also please don't forget to follow / join my blog for future updates.
